Product Description
Bondable PTFE Film Tape, 1/4" x 36 yd, 3 mil. A high-modulus PTFE film coated with high-temperature silicone adhesive and treated on the backside for improved bondability. Used as a high temperature insulation product and to protect airframe wire harnesses. Meets MIL-I-23594D U.S. Government specifications, which is superseded by MIL Spec, A-A-59474 Type 2, Class 2. Backing Thickness = 3.0 mil; Adhesive Thickness = 1.5 mil; Total Tape Thickness = 4.5 mil. Chemically inert; low-friction; non-toxic; 11,000 volts dielectric strength.
