3M 231 / 231A Paint Masking Tape, Tan, 3 1/4 in x 60 yd, 7.6 mil. A premium high-performance crepe paper masking tape designed to meet aerospace needs in most painting applications, including the use of multiple bake cycles. A smooth masking tape that embodies all the features that are desirable in a paint masking tape. Rubber adhesive provides instant adhesion and resists lifting or curling for sharp paint lines. Maintains integrity when formed around a corner. Clean removeal from many surfaces following high temperature bake. This tape can be certified to ASTM D-6123 (replaces obsolete PPP-T-42C, Type I, (CID-A-A-883B)).
