3M 8991 Polyester Tape, Blue, 1 in x 72 yd, 2.4 mil. A general purpose polyester tape that excels in high temperature masking operations such as powder coating painting. Coated with silicone adhesive that bonds to difficult surfaces. Performs in temperatures from -60ºF (-50ºC) to 400ºF (204ºC). Clean removal. Chemical resistant. Also used for holding parts or vacuum bags during composite bonding or for masking metal surfaces in acid or caustic chemical milling baths. A great protective tape for shipping applications.
