Bondable PTFE Film Tape, 1/2" x 36 yd, 2 mil. A certified A-A-59474D TYPE II, CLASS 1 PTFE film tape with 2 mil backing thickness, 3.9 mil total thickness. Provides unsurpassed dielectric strength (9.4kV) over a wide range of temperatures. The film treatment creates bond ability without the use of an interliner. Used in the aerospace industry for wrapping over small diameters and where coatings are required to bond to the tape surface. The ideal tape where electrical varnishes and epoxy resins are used. Equivalent to 3M 62 PTFE Electrical Tape.
